Computation Education Research
I work in the Computational Education Research Lab (LINK TO CERL PAGE) at Michigan State University. My current research focuses on improving how we teach computational data analysis to students from diverse backgrounds.
Astronomy
My Ph.D. work focused on modeling multi-wavelength observations of gamma-ray-emitting Classical Novae, with a specific focus on the V1324 Sco. I used radio observations to probe the extensive properties of nova ejecta, optical data as a diagnostic of the plasma, and gamma-ray data to constrain the dynamics of the event. My adviser was Dr. Laura Chomiuk.
